2-Phase Stepper Motor Driver CF2068M
Overview
CF2068M is a cost effective, high performance micro-stepper driver applying
pure-sinusoidal current control technique. With an automatic optimization speed control
technique, the power step series drive output is very stable, with almost zero vibration and
noise, performing according to a servo control technique, allowing the motor to operate
smoothly. That helps to fulfill a design requirement of low noise, low heat and high
performance. It operates well in an environment where electricity supply experience
instability and fluctuation.

resolution is 40000 steps/turn
l Its working current range is 2.4-7.2A, the output current is a totalof 16 levels, the current
resolution is 0.68A

Current Setting
The working current of the driver is set by SW1-SW3 terminals, and the operating current is
set by the normal working output current setting switch (as shown in the table below).
Subdivision setting
The driver subdivision is set by SW5-SW8 terminals, total of 16grades (as shown in the
table below)
Notice:
1. The input voltage shall not exceed AC 80V.
2. Input signal level is 5V. When higher than 5V, need concatenated current-limiting
resistor, 24V Series 2KΩ .
3. The falling edge of the input signal is valid.
4. When the temperature of the driver exceed 80℃, the alarm indicator lights up
and driver stops working. The driver does not work until the temperature drops below
50℃ and needs to be repowered. Please install in a place with good heat dissipation.
5. When over current indicator light (phase short circuit), please check the motor
winding and other short circuit errors, and then re-energize.
6. When the indicator light of disconnected motor is on, please check the motor
winding and reenergize to clear the alarm.
